Every 1000 litres (1m3) of water, requires 1Kg of Bio-Sure®
If your water volume is unknown, follow the steps below and use the simple calculator to establish the correct quantity of Bio-Sure blocks needed to effectively treat your cooling tower water system.
Firstly, establish the water volume, then select the quantity of Bio-Sure® required
- If one or more of the values below for “Heat Rejection” “Water Flow Rate” or “Water Volume” are known, then
use these to calculate the quantity of Bio-Sure® that is required.
- If these factors are unknown, then simply measure the diameter of the Cooling Tower “Inlet Pipe” at the point
where it has been physically connected to the tower by the manufacturer.
- If using the “Inlet Pipe” diameter to determine the water volume and two Bio-Sure® quantity values are stated
on the table, use the larger quantity.
